Full-Service Design House with Honest Pricing
We don't mark up furniture. We bill a transparent $200/hr for design time and we pass along the same wholesale and trade pricing we receive as a design firm — typically 20–50% below retail. See exactly how it works for your project.

What to Expect When You Work With Us
1. Design Consultation
Every project starts with a complimentary conversation about your space, your goals, and how you like to live. No pressure, no cost — just an honest first look at what's possible for your home.

2. Site Visit & Existing Floor Plans
Next, we take detailed measurements and photograph the space to build an accurate floor plan of exactly what's there today — either in person, or fully remote if you're outside the Washington, DC or Richmond, VA areas. For remote clients, we provide clear instructions on exactly what to measure and how.

3. Furniture, Lighting and Budget
Based on our conversations, we develop floor plans to lay out furniture, lighting, decor, and art — showing exactly how each room will function and feel. We also provide you with a budget that outlines estimated product costs along with additional costs such as tax, white-glove delivery and tips.

4. Transparent Purchasing and Receipts
Once you've landed on design details and furniture for your space, we handle all the purchasing, freight, and white-glove delivery for you. You only pay for what things actually cost and we provide you with all receipts so you have confidence in how you've spent your money.
5. Delivery and On-site Installation Support
We track and coordinate deliveries so it works for you. In the Washington, DC and Richmond, VA areas, our white-glove partners handle delivery, placement and assembly according to your furniture plans. Outside those areas, we coordinate with trusted local delivery and installation professionals in your area, using those same detailed plans, so the result is just as seamless.

About Us
Creativity drives The Thirdington. We travel globally to work alongside artists and craftsmen, designing everything from homes and hotels to work spaces and showrooms — and no two projects ever look the same. That variety is the point: our team moves fluidly between product design, brand experiences, and full interior environments, treating every new space as a chance to experiment. We thrive on the fact that the creative process is unpredictable, because you never really know where a good idea will take you.
